Telehealth for ICBC and Private Clients

During this difficult time of COVID-19, many of you have been contacting us about wanting to continue your care. Some of you have been injured in car accidents (ICBC) and others are private clients dealing with an injury.

These are the plans that are currently covering the Telehealth service:

  • ICBC
  • Johnson Inc.
  • Manulife
  • Green Shield
  • Sun Life
  • Canada Life
  • Pacific Blue Cross (but only for patients that have been seen in clinic first)

Wherever possible, we are direct billing these sessions. Telehealth sessions are 30 minutes in length and require you to use either an iphone, laptop or tablet. ICBC is 100% covered (and we bill them directly), and the other plans cover as they normally would.

To book a Telehealth session, please email info@avitahealth.ca and we will contact you about setting up a time. If you are requesting a specific Physiotherapist or Chiropractor, please let us know in the email as well. Most of our team are offering these sessions, and if your particular Practitioner is not, then we can recommend another excellent Telehealth Practitioner.
